Grantham Town was the venue for the 2024 Army FA Sixes on Wednesday. After a pulsating day of two divisions of group football the final was eventually competed for by 22 Engineer Regiment who defeated 2 Yorkshire Regiment 3-1.

We thank the following teams for their attendance: 1 CG (two teams), 2 Rangers, 22 Engr Regt, 2 Yorks, GARRC Sp Bn, 23 PARA Eng Regt, 7 Bn REME, 21 Engr Regt, 32 Engr Regt, 6 Regt RLC, 1 RSME, 16 Signal Regt.

We also extend our appreciation to the new Army Referees whose Tutors were conducting a basic course during the week. In particular thank you to Simon Thorburn and former FA Cup Final and Premier League official WO2 Andy Halliday MBE who presented the post event prizes. The event would not have happened without them.
