He will be charged with setting a culture for success both on and off the field and his appointment provides an opportunity to reset Men’s football in the Army.

Al said, ‘I am delighted to be given the opportunity to be working with such a talented group of players and staff and I am excited to be working alongside the quality coaches from the other Army Representative Teams.

Men’s Trustee, Lt Col Tony Frank said ‘I am extremely excited by the appointment of Al as our Senior Team Head Coach. Competition for the appointment was very fierce and we were lucky to be blessed with some high calibre applicants. I look forward to working with Al, his staff and all of our representative sides to progress Army Football.’
